My passion is working with women, seniors and children.
Dance inspired me as an adopted nine-year-old foster child. I remember being totally mesmerized when Orlando Ballet performed at my elementary school. I thought the dancers were so beautiful and it gave me hope. I knew then I wanted to create dance for others and bring joy into their lives.
Now 28 years later, I continue to work with dedicated volunteers, dancers, teachers and organizations to produce community shows and workshops throughout Central Florida.
During the 1990’s, I was very active in the Orlando cultural scene and the Florida Dance Festival. I became a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. I also fell in love Pilates and Yoga!
In 2003, I produced “Faces of Asia,” dance concert at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center with funding by sponsors and United Arts of Central Florida.
In 2011, at age 40, one of my dreams came true. I was a dancer/cheerleader for Orlando City Soccer for two years. I credit Pilates for enabling my body to stay strong, lean and flexible (and compete with dancers half my age).
In 2012, I produced a 20-year retrospective of my choreography, Year of the Dragon,” as a resident artist at The Center for Contemporary Dance. In recent years, I started Chinese Ribbon Dance Workshops and Summer Camp dance and fitness classes.
Now moving into 2017, my focus is to help women feel beautiful, healthy and strong at every age.
